The Five Pillars of Islam Poem for Children
Nothing besides Him that is worshipped is true;
And that Muhammad is His Messenger, that is my creed;
May blessings and peace be upon him, to proceed:
The prayer, made obligatory on the night he ascended;
Directly by Allah, this will not be amended,
Zakat to be paid; a small amount of my wealth;
From the generous who does not only care for himself;
Fasting; an act He has said is for Him;
From the time of true Fajr until the sun sets again,
To Allah's Sacred House every Muslim must go;
At least once if he's able; if unable then no.
The upright religion; it doesn't lean, bend or tilt,
And these are the pillars upon which it was built.
