This is a commentary upon the booklet ‘This is Our Call and Our Creed’ by our Shaykh, the Imam of the Sunnah, Muqbil b. Hadi al-Wadi’i (may Allah have mercy upon him). Initially, I began to add some brief notes to this treatise for a seminar in Masjid Sunnah in the city of Chicago, USA; then the idea came to me to prepare this as a book so that others can also benefit from the knowledge, wisdom, and insight of this Imam.

At a time when some people are confused about the methodology of the Salaf and the positions of the senior scholars that carry this message, this book sheds light on a number of important issues and the true stance of the people of the Sunnah towards them.

The Shaykh, as a reviver of the Sunnah in this era, is aptly qualified to address this topic, as his call spread throughout Yemen and beyond, and his students can still be found all over the world, calling to Tawhid and the Sunnah.
