It preserved the true facts of their history, and it also protected them from being slandered and dispraised.

Read in this brief treatise a number of the examples from the life and speech of the Prophet Muhammad (may Allaah’s Prayers and Peace be upon him) where he extolled the virtues of the Prophets of God who preceded him, and defended their honour — as well as the letter he sent to Heraclius, the Emperor of the Byzantine Romans, and the response of the Emperor to that letter.
