From the Introduction: Indeed, the noble Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) has a great rank, and a high status that none from the creation has attained, for indeed he will be the leader of the children of Aadam (alayhis salaam) on the Day of Resurrection; Aadam (alayhis-salaam) will be under his leadership. He has been bestowed ash-shafaa’udhmaa (the great intercession) from which the Messengers (alayhimus-salaam) will excuse themselves and it has been singled out for him by Allaah, and Allaah has chosen him over the rest of the creation for it. Certainly, His Lord the Glorified and Exalted honored him with noble qualities that were not given to any of the Messengers before him, and all of them have a lofty station with Allaah. This is unique work is especially needed in our times when the noble Messenger of Islaam is being attacked and slandered in popular media. It serves as a reminder to the Muslim about the lofty status that Allaah the Glorified and Exalted has given His Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). Lastly, this work gives a balanced view concerning love for the Messenger, sending peace and blessings upon him, the mannerisms of sending peace and blessings, and loving and respecting his Family.
